The Postpartum Workout Gap
Not sure where to start with exercise after baby?
One of the most common things I hear: “postpartum workouts feel too easy, but regular workouts feel like too much.” You're somewhere in the middle, not sure what your body is ready for, and not sure who to ask.
That's exactly where I come in.
-
Not sure where to begin? We’ll figure out what your body is ready for right now, no guessing, no generic timelines.
-
Already have a workout you enjoy? I’ll help you adapt it so it still feels like you, minus the guesswork.
-
If you’re starting fresh, we’ll build a plan around where you are today, with your goals in mind.
-
Learning to reconnect breath, core, and pelvic floor so your workouts actually support your recovery instead of working against it.
-
A clear, paced path back to running, jumping, or lifting heavier, built around your body’s readiness, not a fixed timeline.
-
Guidance on training safely and effectively with diastasis recti, without unnecessary fear or restriction.
Orthopaedic and General Physical Therapy
Individualized care for aches and injuries.
Pelvic health and orthopaedic care aren't separate at Exhale. But sometimes you just have a hip that's been bothering you, or a neck that's been tight for months, and you need someone to look at it. That's what I'm here for too.

Exercise, Fine-Tuned
Not sure if your exercises are actually working?
Maybe you're hypermobile and every program either does nothing or leaves you sore in the wrong places. Maybe you finished a home exercise program after surgery and it's still not clear it's doing what it should. Maybe your body is changing with perimenopause and your old workouts don't fit anymore.
I help you feel exercises where you're supposed to feel them, and adjust from there.
-
Your joints move more than most, and that changes how exercise should feel. I help you find the range where your muscles are doing the work instead of your ligaments taking the load, so you build strength without paying for it later.
-
You got the home program. But something still doesn't feel right, or you're not convinced it's working the way it should. I fine-tune your exercises to your specific surgery and how your body is actually healing, not just the generic sheet you were handed.
-
Your body isn't broken, it's changing, and the workouts you've always relied on haven't caught up. Cardio feels harder for less payoff. Strength matters more now, not less, and I help you rebuild your training around it, so it actually protects you where you are today.
-
Not every exercise fits every body, and that's fine. I help you adjust reps, range, position, or equipment so the same movement works for you instead of against you.
-
Sometimes you just want a second set of eyes. Maybe an exercise never quite feels right, or you're not sure your form is doing what it should. I help you feel it where you're supposed to feel it, and adjust from there.
